If you are a US national looking for nursing scholarship you should be aware of the government’s scholarship program. In recent years there were reported shortage in nurses around the US territory and this problem may have contributed to the lack of proper information regarding the continuing scholarship program for nursing students. The program is under the support and care of the US Department of Health and Human Services and is implemented by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) The program is only allowed for US citizens or nationals. The national government in the US should be able to give this scholarship to all the American students – even online degree program – who need to avail of this very commendable opportunity. Although it is limited only to native-Americans but this government-funded program is able to give this to qualified applicants. This means through massive advertising for this program the shortage problem in the US. It a very laudable program and it should be proudly announced in schools so that there will be this kind of scholarship for them in this country. Even when there is, if campaign is not doing well, it is also expected the reported shortage in nurses in the country would continue to haunt the national leadership.
