In the field of nursing program, it has been noticed that here in the United States there are more learners who are getting the nursing associate degree course program rather than the registered nursing degree course. This observation is not only visible to the campus educational learning setting but as well to the learners who have foregone a nursing online degree career course. According to the several school administrators in the different nursing school in the country, there are several reasons why most of the learners prefers nursing associate course program. In which, most of the reason can be jot down into three aspects. The fist aspect is lack of financial resources. Although, nursing career entails lots of job opportunities especially the registered nurses but still only several learners can afford to forego a registered nursing career course program because of the high expenditures that it entails. With these financial concerns, those young learners who are very much incline to forego a nursing career will usually take an associate nursing course. The second aspect is the practical experience that the associate nursing learners can gain. In which, there are several young individuals who are very much incline to learn about hands on educational training in nursing program. As well, most of the career schools especially the nursing schools in the country also provides a good quality of hands on training experience for the learners who get an associate nursing program. Just like the Marion Technical College where in, they have given out a very tremendous and highly dignified associate nursing educational training for their learners. Currently, they allow their students to undergo hands on career training in the field of pediatrics and this training provides a very enjoyable learning experience for the associate nursing learners. The third aspect why there are several young individuals who are very much incline to enroll to associate nursing degree is the short period of time that this career course entails. In which, this associate career course usually takes for around one to year study and training. With that short period of time, it encourages everyone to take up this career course program.
Even though that there are several young learners who have forego a associate nursing program but still most them continually pursued to become registered nurses because of the higher career opportunities that it entails. So, it’s quite clear that getting an associate nursing career is just a stepping stone for most individuals to forego a higher learning in the field of nursing.
