A recent survey in the US reported that the biggest employers of local and international nurses are hospitals. The Department of Health and Human Services said as per record hospitals employed 56.2 percent of the total nurses that are now working in the US. This is also followed by the community health centers that are run by the government and private groups at 14.9 percent. The ambulatory care also got a total employment of 11.5 for nurses aside from physicians and nursed base practices.

The shocking revelation about the survey is that only 2.6 percent of professional nurses applied I nursing education and this perhaps explains the shortage in nursing professionals in the US, the DHHS continued. Though there are now boarding schools for nurses in the US to strengthen enrollments of more nurses. Other offices which also hire the services of nursing professionals include health associations, federal administrative agencies, State boards of nursing, insurance companies, jails, equipment and pharmaceutical companies.

The career education for nursing is now among the pressing concerns of the US government. For the meantime their solution is only to hire more nursing professionals as well as nursing aides in developed countries of the world while they experiencing a decline in nursing professionals in their country. It said that the 2.6 percent number of nursing working as educators is really a problem right now. The American government is now strengthening its student loan education program to be able to drive new nursing graduates. The US government has been throwing millions of dollars salaries to international nurses which found their homes in the American soul. In fact, there are nurses in Asia that are now green card holders in America. They prefer to live in the US saying that the country is a good place for living. There are many works available and people should not feel worried of having no job.
