The issue of nursing shortage in the United States is still as hand. In which, it’s still continually occurring to several state and medical establishment in the Untied States. In that manner, the United States government together with the different
medical schools or institutions and nursing association has united in forming different strategies in fighting this nursing shortage situation and be able to achieve the stability of population rate of the nurses in the Untied States. They have seen that the nursing educational system is one area that will help in increasing the nursing population. Since, nursing schools are the mere foundation upon producing professional nurses in the society. As well, it can be observe that there are several newly professionals nurses that have been acknowledge but still the government want to double this population size because the presence of the nurses personnel are very much in demand. In that manner, the government have allocated budget in order to ponder to the construct more nursing schools,
nursing scholarships, and nursing facilities in order to produce lots of nursing professionals.The allocation budget for increasing the nursing population in the Untied States had just started given out to the different designated states which has severely experiencing nursing shortage. One of the states that have received the budget allocation is the state in Texas. The local government in Texas also divided the money to the different nursing schools,
medical schools and pharmacy schools. Since, the Texas government has observed that their physician or doctors and pharmacist population rate are also fluctuating. In that manner, the Texas local government has given medical and pharmacy schools percentage money budget in order to support upon developing their educational system and to produce more professionals in this field. But still, the nursing educational institutes have received the larger portion of the financial aid coming form the government because this the field that needs more focus especially that there state is in need of more nurses.
The money that was given by the Texas local government to the different healthcare educational institutions are allocated for nursing scholarship program, medical student scholarship, pharmacist scholarship, and for the purchasing of new educational facilities of health care field courses especially the nursing course. Just like the case of Angelo State University’s Nursing Department. In which, they have converted the budget money that the government gave them into a 1.27 million scholarship grant for the individuals who want to pursue a nursing programs but don’t enough money to do. They have seen that this will be a great help in order to produce high caliber of nurses in their state. Indeed, the all health care institutions especially he nursing schools are very much supported to the call and the societal about the numbers of nursing personnel’s and other health care personnel’s.
