Resolution for Nursing Shortage Issue

Nowadays, the United States is still in there quest in fighting against the gradual decrease of the availability of nurses in the medical institutions. It was predicted that by the year 2020, around 400,000 nursing personnel will be out from the different medical institutions. That prediction will is quite possible. If that situation will happen, it is quite difficult to live without the presence of the nurses personnel. Just like this video entitled America needs nurses, in which it presented on how difficult it was to live without the presence of nurses in the different medical institutions. Since, nursing job is quite important in ensuring and maintaining the stability of the health status of all individuals in the society. In that manner, nurses are very much important in the society. As a result the, the United States government keep on encouraging young individuals to take a nursing degree program course in order to prevent the prediction of vast decrease of nurses by 2020. One of the motivational program that will serve as encouragement for the young individuals to take a nursing degree course is the giving out of the different scholarship program to the different healthcare schools in the United States especially in the Texas. The scholarship program of Texas department of education gives chances to the individuals to obtain a nursing degree program whether vocational courses, undergraduate nursing programs, or master’s degree programs. This scholarship program will be a great help in fighting against the gradual decrease of nurses personnel.

As well, the Texas government also gives importance to the nursing educators or teachers by giving them a nursing Teacher Appreciation Day 2008 grand celebration. In which, this will be participated by all teachers and educators of the nursing school. Also, the nursing teacher celebration will start from May 4 – 10, 2008. This duration of celebration is a called teacher appreciation week 2008 celebration. In which, the fest celebration is dedicated to all teachers or educators in the United States especially the nursing teachers. Since, the nursing educators are the reason why nurses existed in the different medical in the United States.

It is important that nursing educators or teachers are given much important because there are the ones who molded and help a lot to produce lots of nurses in the nation with a high caliber potential in practicing its profession and giving out its health care service to the society. In that manner, their teaching profession can help strengthen the team of nurses in the nation. In that manner, it is right that nursing educators or teachers will be given a reward by just merely appreciating them and gives a total support or cooperation in their daily service. Teacher appreciation week 2008 celebration is one way to show appreciation and acknowledgement to the teachers especially the nursing educators.
